Nemonymous 7 Zencore

On behalf of Des:
"All accepted authors are immediately empowered to mention anywhere that they will have an *unnamed* story in ZENCORE.
People who email me with a complete list of these authors’ names (compiled from this piecemeal information on the internet between now and publication) will receive a free copy of the book, up to ten free ZENCOREs. If nobody is able to give a complete list, a free ZENCORE will go to each of the five people with the most correct names."
"I shall now be regularly selling the legendary past issues of Nemonymous on Ebay at very reasonable reserve prices. The link is here: http://tinyurl.com/38lq3r"

Thanks, Charles. I've just seen the cover of the ZENCORE! book and it's magnificent! Have you told anyone you've got a story in it, Charles? Well, now you have!

Think I've told 4 so far, Des!
Telling people I've got a story in Nemo 7, will probably put them off buying a copy.
Who did the cover? And when can the rest of us see it?

Please do not show this cover to anyone else. des
Edited to remove cover image with black bar down. Apologies. I'm now trying to keep internet images of the cover down to a minimum.

I've forgotten. Probably in Somerset. I took photos (slides) there on my Honeymoon in 1970 and I'm absolutely sure it's from that occasion.
Or it's not a statue at all. But some ghostly figment pretending to be made of stone or hard shadow.

I did. A couple or so weren't to my taste, but there's certainly some good stories in there.
How did the competition go? I managed to find 10 or 11 names of contributors, did anyone do any better?
And more importantly, have you sold any yet?

Congrats on getting into Nemo, Charles. Driven by curiosity, I got the first 5 volumes of Nemonymous recently here at Des's eBay site.
I've read about half-a-dozen stories so far, and I'll be posting on them as soon as I can get to it. The design and print quality of the books is excellent (the word 'beautiful' has been used by some), so is the standard of writing, and I think the stories would appeal to most. Writing them up will probably feel odd, as of course the authors aren't named till later volumes appear, meaning stories are published and read entirely on their own merits.
Des's sale includes a signed Stephen King volume and a Haining/Parry offer at the moment, aside from Nemonymous and small press items. The condition of books I've bought there has been better than stated, I'd say.
I don't want to take up the "10 Most Recent" thread with too many unnecessary posts, so I'll use this one to mention that I don't have the Aickman story Des' has mentioned this morning (I have 17 Aickman stories catalogued so far, more might turn up soon).
Also need to get the BHF Book of Horror Stories write-up posted, which will include of course stories by Charles Black, Daniel McGachey (who's got another listed on the present 10 Most Recent), Franklin Marsh and James Stanger, though who the *blank* this "Rog" character is and who's going to write up his stuff, god knows and who cares...?
Have just introduced the Noah and Steve blogs as today's good turn. They deserve each other.
OK, back to work...

Thanks, Charles & Rog. Really grateful. Sorry to use up 10 most recent, too! So I'll keep it short. BTW, Charles, NOBODY AT ALL entered the competition. You'd have won if you had entered.

Des, I can't believe no one entered the competition. The only reason I didn't was because I assumed I'd be ineligible.

Thanks, Rog. If you add this one to your collection, I wonder if you'll be able to work out which is my contribution.

One of the writers in the 'Scriptus Innominatus' book has called the contents of Nemo 7: 'Weirderature'. According to Google, this is the first use of this word. What is it?
