Vault MySpacers: The Roll Of Shame
« Thread started on: Aug 14th, 2007, 5:15pm »

Many Vault members are abroad on MySpace so here's a handy checklist of people to avoid if you are unfortunate enough to have opened an account: some names have been omitted to protect the guilty.

These two haven't chosen a snappy title for their space yet, so the links are about sixty screens long, hence edit. You will not be surprised to learn who the second of these trouble makers happens to be.

Vaguely guilty of Vaultist activity:

http://www.myspace.com/BurlVeneer (really helped me out with the Loughville board)
http://www.myspace.com/flashknickers (broke the 'Ralph Bates: Banned!' story)
http://www.myspace.com/machiavellianboy (the geezer from Hub fancies himself a bit, don't he?)
http://www.myspace.com/pulpgallery (one of the very few reasons I still sign in)
http://www.myspace.com/shillingshockers (Penny Dreadful 13th, horror hostess with the mostest)
http://www.myspace.com/paiganstone (needs no introduction, etc., so isn't going to get one & co.)

If I left anybody off it's your own fault for not begging me to be your *friend*

Five? By my reckoning that puts you in joint first! Imagine, just two Vault members account for ten MS pages between them.

And they said we'd only litter cyberspace with rubbish ...

I'm not entirely sure I appreciate your tone, young Tom. The only reason I haven't chosen a snappy title for my MicePaste page yet, is the same reason I'm still dragging my feet on getting that forehead tattoo I've been promising myself - namely, I can't think of anything that seems to justify the trouble involved in removing the thing if I should happen to think better of it.

And you know how flighty I am...

Besides which, I'm not sure that I want to be part of this whole social networking business anymore - not since my "Tom's a c*nt" profile was removed without so much as a word of explanation. Something to do with infringement of copyright I expect... some other c*nt probably complained.

Now, you see... aren't you glad I don't post here more often..?

Did I come third top for being an utter w*nker or was it because I thought Tom was a robot, then a friend, I'd forgotten about while pissed, before finally realising he was simply a c*nt.

There's now a Ramsey Campbell myspace page. Its still a tad 'under construction' at the moment, but its getting there...

Although it is mainly a 'fanpage', the man himself seems interested in making use of the bloggle device, so that could be worth a look in the near future.

Thanks for that Sean.

And speaking of RC on MySp*ce, a video of none other than our dear friend and colleague John Probert interviewing the great man at last years FantasyCon Ramsey interview part 1
